The year 2022 has been full of great challenges for all of us. We were in a profound stage of grief due to massive disruptions by the deadlier 3rd wave of COVID-19. Despite of all the best efforts of our healthcare workers, we have lost some of our colleagues, friends and family members. Hence, I urge all our faculty members, officers, non-teaching staff and their family members, trainees and their friend to get vaccinated.

A college is the apex epitome of teaching, learning and evaluation which together shapes the life and career of a large chunk of youth of the society in the context of professional education. Since its founding in July 2005, the Bhavan’s Tripura College of Teacher Education is committed to the cause of dissemination of knowledge to every section of the society. The college set its motto of ideas, imagination and innovations since its inception.

We, at the college, continuously aspire to be a breeding ground for positive ideas and emerge as a symbol of openness of thoughts, cultural pluralism and celebrating the unity in the diversity of India. We attempt to kindle every trainees sense of responsibility, honesty, justice and above all commitment to human values.

Trainees form the core of our existence as an institution and we want to inculcate professionalism among our trainees to give wings to their dreams.

I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge the individual and collective efforts of all the teachers, non-teaching staff, trainees towards regulating academic calendar inspite of the pandemic. The college is also preparing for the visit of NAAC Peer Team. With the continued earnest co-operation and support of all the stake holders, we are confident that NAAC visit will be fruitful in achieving our goals.

At last, I pay our tribute to those who had been associated with the college and seek meet their expectations to take the college to greater heights. I, as a Principal of this college request everyone to join us in fostering a healthy, peaceful and engrossing atmosphere at the college campus. I invite you to contribute actively and enrich the college with your intellectual resources, rich experiences and fruitful suggestions.
